💕 My Mom’s Story: Tami’s Fight Against Stage 4 Breast CancerIn May 2020, while the world was shutting down because of COVID, my world stopped for a completely different reason, my mom, Tami, was diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer.I was just about to begin my senior year of high school. A year that was supposed to be filled with memories and milestones instead became the year I watched my mom begin the hardest fight of her life.Since then, she’s gone through chemotherapy, several rounds of radiation, 4 rounds of infusion in 4 areas of her body, and a spinal stabilization surgery. She now takes 14 chemotherapy pills a day just to keep going.Through it all, she’s leaned on her faith, and so has our family and friends. Even when it was difficult to do so, but we believed somehow that God was still listening and He gave us the strength to face each day.Now, we’ve reached the most critical point in her journey. Her best chance at healing is at Envita Medical Center in Scottsdale, Arizona. Her consultation is scheduled for September 16th, and treatment begins on September 29th.But we need help to get her there.We’re doing everything we can to raise the funds. The total cost is high, and we’re still $40,000 short. We're trying to get a two-week payment extension, but time is running out.I don’t expect us to raise the full amount all at once, but every prayer, every dollar, every share truly makes a difference.
